As the embattled Director-General of
SEC, Arunma Oteh and National Assembly continue to fight over the issue
of sacking Oteh, a call has been made to the lawmakers to refrain
from personalising issues of national interest.
A Lagos-based lawyer, Ladi Rotimi-Williams SAN, who made this call in an interview yesterday, said that from all indications, it appeared that the lawmakers were bent on taking their pound of flesh on Oteh over her altercation with one of their own, Herman Hembe.
He said It will be recalled that the House of Representatives had recommended the sack of Oteh to the President over her role in the capital market crisis, a call the President ignored.
