Dear Sir
Good Day and Hope your day is going on fine.Have a wonderful weekend
With due respect,am writing this open letter to you.Firstly,You
tried your best when you were the Central Bank Governor and I say
bravo to you; you need to understand that there is much difference
between Governor of CBN and Governor of a State. You are just wasting
your hard earned money on a dream that can never be achieved. You keep
'porting' from One political party to the other Like Mr Saka.Your
political ambition has been tarnished and you just need to invest your
money on something meaningful. You started with PDP,you won the primary
but you did win the election, now with APGA,you didnt even win the
primary. The Mere UPP said you can even be their governorship
candidate. You have to read within the lines. 'Politics is not just
your way' .My advice for you is Invest in real estate and oil
sector.More profitable than the embarrasment you are bringing yo
yourself.Mind you,If you join another political party again, you cant
win because APGA controls anambra.Keep your money for future use
I will stop here,Sir.I wish you goodluck in your future endeavour.

Yours Faithfully,

Hotel Selling Cooked Human Meat Found In Onitsha As Police Arrests 11 With Fresh Human Heads

On Thursday Onitsha police arrested 11 people after they discovered 2 fresh human heads in a hotel (name withheld) very close to the popular Ose-Okwodu market in Anambra state.

2 AK47 rifles & other weapons were also discovered in the hotel.

The arrest followed tip-offs from area residents on Thursday morning.

The hotel owner, 6 women and 4 men were arrested.

After police got access to the hotel, they made a startling discovery of two human heads wrapped in a cellophane bag, two AK47 rifles, two army caps, 40 rounds of live ammunition and so many cell phones.

“Each time I came to market, because the hotel is very close to the market, I always noticed funny movements in and out of the hotel; dirty people with dirty characters always come into the hotel. So, I was not surprised when the police made this discovery in the early hours of yesterday,” said a vegetable seller in the area

A Pastor who was among the people who tipped off the police on Thursday said: I went to the hotel early this year, after eating, I was told that a lump of meat was being sold at N700, I was surprised. So I did not know it was human meat that I ate at such expensive price.”

What is this country turning into?

Can you imagine people selling human flesh as meat.

Seriously I’m beginning to fear people in this part of the world.

Lord have mercy!

‘I fell ill after seeing my brother’s corpse’

L-R: Late Ifechukwude; dad; mum; and Gideon

Gideon Nwainokpor, the younger brother, of a 25-year-old undergraduate, who was lynched in Badagry area of Lagos State on July 21, 2013, told PUNCH Metro that he fell ill after  seeing the brutalised corpse of his brother in the mortuary.
PUNCH Metro had reported on Wednesday that two youths, Ifechukwude Nwainokpor, and one Kazeem, were allegedly lynched by hoodlums and policemen in Ajara area of Badagry.
Gideon, 20, told our correspondent, who visited his parents’ home in Badagry, that life would no longer be the same as he had now become the only child of his parents.
He said, “I am a chorister in my church and on that particular day, I was in the studio when I received a phone call from my aunt that my brother and another person were being beaten up at Ajara.
“I learnt that he was tortured for several hours before he died around 6pm. By the time I arrived there, I was told that he had been taken to Badagry General Hospital Mortuary. It was at the place that I identified his remains.”
Gideon said after seeing his brother’s brutalised corpse, he became dizzy and barely managed to return home.
He said he fell ill for two days and was not able to utter a word because he was in shock.
Describing the kind of person his brother was, he said, “My brother was a very soft person and he never looked for trouble. He was five years older than me. We were always together if we were not in school.
“My brother was not an armed robber, neither was he a cultist. He always had good grades right from when he was at Badagry Grammar School and later at the Delta State University.”
Our correspondent observed sympathisers coming to the family home to condole with the deceased’s parents.
The father of the deceased, Samuel, told PUNCH Metro that lynching was common in Badagry but because the town was not on the metropolis, many of such cases usually went unreported.
“Someone was beheaded not too long ago in the same area after being accused of being a thief. Because of its proximity to the border, many smugglers and miscreants live in Badagry and they perpetrate all manner of crimes without being arrested.”
Meanwhile, it was learnt that the Commissioner of Police, Umar Manko, had summoned the Divisional Police Officer, Badagry Police Station, Mr. Mohammed Dankoli, over the incident.
When asked if the policemen involved in the lynching had been arrested, the spokesperson for the state police command, Ngozi Braide, said investigations were ongoing.

Cult Members Kill 2 In Ogun

Two persons were killed by suspected cult members in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State on Wednesday evening.
The incident occurred at Ajegunle-Ijada and Ishado areas of the town.
The victims, Lekan Ojaewele, 22, and Muyiwa Adeyemi, 20, were apprentices in the barbing and electronics businesses.
Investigations, however, revealed that the deceased were accidental victims as their bosses were the targets.
While Mr. Ojaewele was said to have been killed on his way to his boss’ shop by the cultists, Mr. Adeyemi was murdered while sleeping inside a shop belonging to his own boss.
A witness, who preferred anonymity, said the cult members came on motorcycles to launch the attacks.
Yemi Odukoya, the Head of an Ijebu-Ode vigilance group, said the victims died in retaliatory attacks launched over the killing of a member of the Aye cult by the Eiye cult on Tuesday night.
Mr. Odukoya, who lamented the incessant killings in the town by cult groups, said his security outfit could not do much due to limited resources.
The Ogun Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, confirmed the incident.
Mr. Adejobi, however, urged members of the community to assist the police with useful information that could lead to the arrest of the hoodlums.
“These bad elements live among the people in the community and they can only be fished out with useful information by the people,’’ Mr. Adejobi said.
He added that security in the town had been beefed up with the deployment of more officers from the neighbouring command while efforts were on to nab the hoodlums.

*Bizarre* Kenyan Lawyer Sues Israel Over Jesus' Death

A Kenyan lawyer has filed a petition with the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague, suggesting that the trial and crucifixion of Jesus Christ was unlawful, and The State of Israel among others should be held responsible, Kenyan news outlet the Nairobian reported on Friday.

Dola Indidis, a lawyer and former spokesman of the Kenyan Judiciary is reportedly attempting to sue Tiberius (Emperor of Rome 42 BC-37AD), Pontius Pilate, a selection of Jewish elders, King Herod, the Republic of Italy and the State of Israel.

"Evidence today is on record in the bible, and you cannot discredit the bible," Indidis told Kenyan Citizen News.

Yes, those he suggests should have been convicted during the original trial have not been alive for more than 2000 years, however Indidis insists that the government for whom they acted can and should still be held responsible.

“I filed the case because it’s my duty to upholdthe dignity of Jesus and I have gone to the ICJ to seek justice for the man from Nazareth,” Indidid told the Nairobian. “His selective and malicious prosecution violated his human rights through judicial misconduct, abuse of office bias and prejudice.”

Indidis apparently named the states of Italy and Israel in the lawsuit because upon the attainment of independence, the two states incorporated the laws of the Roman Empire, those in force at the time of the Crucifixion.

He is challenging the mode of questioning used during Jesus' trial, prosecution, hearing and sentencing; the form of punishment meted out on him while undergoing judicial proceedings and the substance of the information used to convict him.

The case was first filed in the High Court in Nairobi, but was rejected. Indidis had then applied to have it heard at the ICJ, which, the Kenyan news website Standard Media(SDE) reported constituted a pre-trial panel that would consider his case.

Indidis says he wants to establish what crime Jesus was charged with and prays that the court decides “that the proceedings before the Roman courts were a nullity in law for they did not conform to the rule of law at the material time and any time thereafter.”

“Some of those present spat in his face, struck him with their fists, slapped him, taunted him, and pronounced him worthy of death,” Indidis also told SDE.

When Jesus died, Indidis insists he was not given an opportunity to be heard. "I am suing as a friend," he said.

Indidis insisted on the validity of his case, saying "I know with a matter of fact and truth we have a good case with a high probability of success and I hope it is done in my lifetime."

When asked about the case, a spokesperson from the IJC told legal news website Legal Cheek, "The ICJ has no jurisdiction for such a case. The ICJ settles disputes between states. It is not even theoretically possible for us to consider this case."

Global News Publishers Arrested After Publishing False Story On Tunde Folawiyo

The publishers of Global News were yesterday arrested in connection with a scandalous story involving Tunde Folawiyo, the business magnate and entrepreneur.
Segun Ogunbunmi of Global News and Kunle Rasheed of Global Excellence were arrested after publishing a story in Global News which alleged that Mr. Folawiyo had been involved in an affair with beauty pageant Ifeoma Williams.
Mr. Folawiyo had responded, through his solicitors, demanding a full retraction of the story as well as a public apology. In a letter, Folawiyo’s solicitors gave Mr. Ogunbunmi a maximum of 7 days to issue a satisfactory apology.
The letter, dated 12th July, warned that Mr. Ogunbunmi was liable to face criminal charges based on the defamatory nature of the Global News article. Following Mr. Ogunbunmi’s failure to retract the story, the matter was reported to AIG of Zone 2 as well as Umar Manko, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police in another letter.
The letter stated in part:
“I sincerely urge you to use your good offices to investigate the actions of Mr. Ogunbunmi and his organisation with a view to prosecuting them for criminal libel,”
“I fear that the very fabric of our society will continue to decay if ‘journalists’ such as this are allowed to publish defamatory statements recklessly and with impunity against well meaning Nigerians.”
The arrest of Messrs Ogunbunmi and Rasheed was a direct result of an investigation of criminal libel as investigated by the police. It was also instructive to note that the pair had failed to respond to several invitations by the police and were consequently detained in Zone 2 police headquarters. Mr. Rasheed has since been released while Mr. Ogunbunmi remains in police custody.

Actor Solomon Akiyesi Wants To Marry A 4th Wife?

Solomon and Wife 2

I bet you all remember actor Akiyesi Solomon? The actor who tried to secretly marry another wife while his present wife got word of the marriage and crashed the event.
My sources have revealed that the same disgraced actor, Solomon Akiyesi who has already married two different ladies before a marriage drama in Lagos with his ‘authentic’ wife, is not ready to reconcile with his wife.
The word is that he said a lot back then about his wife’s “negative attitude” which he claimed drove him into the arms of another woman.
What is strange is that the actor is rumored to be planning another marriage with a 4th woman, 1 woman is enough trouble but Solomon ‘the wise’ wants 4!!
If this is true then all we can do is pray for him, the matter is beginning to look like a spiritual something, LOL!!!

*WTF* Where Unilag Girls sell their Ovaries Exposed

Apparently a reputable news website has exposed an office where female students of the University of Lagos, UNILAG, Akoka, sell their ovaries for a paltry sum of N120,000. Incredible?

It is now a known fact that some failed Yahoo boys and even non Yahoo boys now fly to Malaysia just to do one business: sell their kidneys.

Some ladies, mostly students from the business oriented University of Lagos, do not to need to travel. They sell their ovaries here in Nigeria for N120,000!

So, this this actually implies that some of the pregnant women rejoicing and boasting with their pregnancy are actually bearing eggs via other women’s ovaries.

Just recently when yours truly visited the head office of the company responsible for this weird business, Nordica Ltd, at Norman Williams Street off Keffi bus stop, Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, a man and his pregnant wife were leaving the building. Did I hear you say, satisfied customers?

It was also gathered they have another office at No 6,Turton Street Sabo Yaba, behind Zone E-Centre. We discovered that the girls are told to come during their Menstrual period for a perfect hatch.

Grandmother sells baby for 200,000naira in Jos

grandma sells daughter's baby
An eight-month-old baby, Chiamaka Obinna, who was allegedly sold by her grandmother for N200,000 and taken from Jos to Onitsha, has been found about one week later and re-united with her mother.
It was gathered that the baby’s grandmother (names withheld), who lived at Rukuba Road by Grafitti Hotel in Jos had on July 19, this year, sent her daughter, who is the mother of the baby on an errand and sent away her other children apparently to pave way for her to dispose of the baby.
Thereafter, some women came to her house and she allegedly gave the baby to them. Unknown to her, some of the neighbours saw her remove the baby from her back and handed her over to the strangers.
When the mother of the baby who gave her name as Blessing Godspower, returned and asked of her baby, her mother feigned ignorance of her whereabouts, saying she must have been taken away by her other children.  But when the grandmother’s other children returned and Chiamaka was not  with them, Blessing raised the alarm.
This attracted the neighbours, who informed that they saw her mother handing over the baby to some people. She denied the claim and the matter was reported to the police.
However, during interrogation,  the suspect allegedly confessed selling the baby to one Eucharia, who had in turn, taken the baby to Awka in Anambra State and sold it to one  Rita for N330,000.
Rita in turn, sold the baby to one Grace for N500,000. The grandmother was said to have told her interrogators that she was yet to receive her share of the illicit deal before the bubble burst.
The state police commissioner in Plateau State, Mr Chris Olakpe said the baby was recovered at Awka on July 24, 2013 through the intelligence of detectives of the command.
He said that upon interrogation, the suspect stated that she sold the baby because her daughter was not taking proper care of her and that she did it with her consent.
But the baby’s mother denied knowledge of the intention to sell her baby, saying as a mother, there was no way she would put up her baby for sale.

Valdeci Sobrino Picanto is a Brazilian Evangelical Pastor. He has been arrested after deceiving the faithful using the name of the "Holy Spirit", by saying foolish lies.

He said his joystick was blessed and that "the Lord had consecrated him with divine milk of the ''Holy Spirit" and, of course, he had to release it in order to "evangelize".

"He has convinced us that only God could come into our lives through our mouth and that's why he would do what he did". Often, after worship, pastor Valdeci would take us to where the funds were kept at the back of the Church and asked us to have Oral sex with him until the Holy Spirit would come through ***********". This is the testimony of one of his victims.
The pastor is already in jail, but said he intends to continue watering his cellmates with his sacred milk.

FG begs parents, students over ASUU strike

Minister of Education, Prof. Ruqayyatu Rufa’iThe Federal Government on Wednesday appealed to parents and students of the nation’s universities to bear with it in what it described as the unfortunate consequences of the closure of universities, while it worked hard to end the ongoing industrial action embarked upon by members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities.
Minister of Information, Mr. Labaran Maku, made the appeal while speaking with State House correspondents at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Wednesday.
Maku said the government had resolved to end the crisis because of the damages perennial strikes had inflicted on the nation’s education sector.
He said the perennial disruption of academic calendar as a result of strikes had become a source of worry to the government.
The minister, however, expressed the confidence that the negotiation being currently spearheaded by the Minister of Labour, Chief Emeka Wogu, and the Minister of Education, Prof. Ruqqayat Rufa’i, would soon produce the desired result.
He said, “The Federal Government has been far more worried than you think concerning the strike in tertiary institutions, because of the disruption of the school calendar. So, the government is concerned and very worried, and since the outset of the strike, the government has been negotiating with ASUU through the Ministry of Labour and Productivity and the Ministry of Education.
“So, we are appealing to our people, particularly parents and children of this nation to bear with us; to show more understanding and we pray that this type of strike will not recur, because the public school system suffers a lot of damage with the perennial strikes.”
Meanwhile, ASUU said on Wednesday in Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, that the Federal Government  was financially buoyant to fund the implementation of the 2009 agreement with the union.
ASUU alleged that the government had, during this year alone, been selling crude at about 150 per cent of budget price and has since January this year collected about N500bn in excess of projected revenue from tax alone.
ASUU Co-ordinator in the South West, Dr. Adesola Nasir, stated this during a news conference in Ago-Iwoye on the five-week old strike by university lecturers.
Nasir, who is also the Chairman of Olabisi Onabanjo University branch of ASUU, stressed that the Federal Government had the financial means to honour the agreement.
He described the lingering crisis in the Nigerian university system as a reflection of the insensitivity of the Federal Government to the plight of Nigerians.
The union therefore said it was embarrassing to discover that the government had denied the existence of any agreement with the university lecturers.
It further stated that it was unfortunate that the progress made so far in resolving the lingering crisis over the non-implementation of the 2009 agreement, failed to match the required urgency required to arrest the decline in the country’s citadel of learning.
He said, “Our union had thought the government would save itself the embarrassment of being exposed as most insensitive to the plight of Nigerians.
“At  the first meeting called by government representatives to address the aforementioned issue, our representatives got the shocker of all time when the Secretary to the Government of the Federation expressed the denial of the existence of the Memorandum of Understanding on the annual release of N400bn for three years as intervention fund for public universities in the country.”
From the Ibadan Zone of ASUU, five universities on Wednesday insisted that the ongoing strike by the union would not be called off unless the Federal Government met their demands.
The universities are University of Ibadan; University of Lagos; Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta; Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye;  Lagos State University and Tai Solarin University of Education.
The union, at a press briefing in LASU on Wednesday, also faulted universities that conducted Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations, despite the ongoing strike.
Some of the universities that have written their Post-UTME are Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife; University of Ilorin, University of Lagos, Lagos State University and University of Nigeria, Nsuka, among others.
Zonal Coordinator, Ibadan Zone of ASUU, Dr. Adesola Nasir, explained that the union embarked on the strike to protest against the decline in the universities in terms of teaching, research, facilities, including students’ accommodation.

Rivers Assembly leader,Chidi Lloyd arraigned for attempted murder

AFTER eight days in police custody, the Majority Leader of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Mr. Chidi Lloyd, on Wednesday, finally appeared before a High Court in Port Harcourt.
Majority Leader of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Chidi Lloyd (third left) being led to the court in Port Harcourt...on Wednesday.

Lloyd, arraigned on six counts of attempted murder, conspiracy, assault and malicious damage, arrived at the court about 10.52am accompanied by riot policemen and other security operatives.
Clad in blue attire, the lawmaker limped as he entered the court premises, supported by two unidentified persons.
The offence of the PDP lawmaker, who was reportedly involved in the fracas in the State Assembly on July 9, 2013, the prosecution said, was contrary to Section 320 of the Criminal Code Law, Cap 37 laws of Rivers State of Nigeria 1999.
Lloyd allegedly hit his fellow lawmaker, Mr. Michael Chinda, with a fake mace during a fight at the Assembly chamber.
During the hearing, the prosecution counsel, Mr. Donald De-wigwe (SAN), objected to the state Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Worgu Boms’ plea to take over the criminal proceeding.
De-wigwe argued that Boms could not take over the court proceedings since there was no proper arraignment of the accused before the court.
De-wigwe said, “Judicially, the argument does not stand. It is not a law of today. The issue is that whether or not there is a criminal proceeding before the court. Until plea is taken, there is still nothing for the attorney-general to takeover.”
Referring to legal authorities to defend his argument, De-wigwe said the attorney-general’s attempt to take over the criminal proceeding of the court was premature.
Boms had earlier noted that Section 211 of the 1999 Constitution, as amended, empowered him to take over the case.
Noting that the measure was necessary in the interest of justice, the Attorney-General insisted that the alleged offence was against the state.
He added, “I stand here by the powers conferred on me by Section 211(1)(b) of the 1999 Constitution to take over the prosecution of the matter between the Commissioner of Police and Chidi Lloyd.”
Also, Lloyd’s lead counsel, Mr. Beluolisa Nwofor (SAN), who objected to the appearance of De-wigwe and other lawyers for the prosecution, explained that as private lawyers, they needed to obtain a fiat from the state Attorney-General to prosecute the matter.
Nwofor said, “I object to De-wigwe’s appearance for prosecution. He is not a police officer, but a private practitioner. The law requires that for a private practitioner to appear in a criminal charge by the Commissioner of Police, he should tender a fiat from the Attorney-General of the state.
“I urge the court to expunge the appearance of all the lawyers announced by the SAN, except J.C.A. Ideachaba, a Superintendent of Police, who filed the information.”
He argued that the letter presented to the court by De-wigwe was not enough as far as the law was concerned.
De-wigwe, however, disagreed saying the state Commissioner of Police initiated the charge not the state Attorney-General.
Justice Nyordee adjourned the case till August 6, 2013 to rule on the submissions of the opposing counsel as it concerned the declaration for a takeover of the criminal proceedings by the Attorney-General.
Meanwhile, there was tight security at the court premises as security operatives frisked all that entered the courtroom.
